Simply get more of the advice you need on your super

QSuper believes financial advice that helps you feel confident about the choices you make now, may help you to feel more secure about the future. So, to help more of our members, we have expanded our over-the-phone advice service.1

We are dedicated to helping members plan for a financially secure retirement and to that end we now offer an expanded range of advice topics to help them connect with the advice on their QSuper account they may need more quickly.

The advice topics may help them plan for the future and manage their QSuper income and pension accounts in retirement.

The expanded service provides access to advice in relation to members’ QSuper account/s including a number of retirement topics. It does not cover additional investments or life insurance they may have outside of QSuper.

Financial advice may be one of the most beneficial calls an individual can make to help take control of their decisions on money and retirement.

Some of the questions a member may have about their super could include wanting to enquire about their eligibility for a downsizer contribution, wanting to boost their super or supplement their income while they are still working, or wanting to know generally how to access funds from their super.

These are advice topics that QSuper members can now receive over-the-phone, subject to eligibility conditions.

New topics also include:

  • Planning and funding retirement
  • Transition to retirement
  • Managing retirement income.

Members can still also access over-the-phone financial advice on specific topics related to their QSuper account.

These include:

  • Reviewing your investment options
  • Reviewing your QSuper insurance
  • Making extra contributions and salary sacrifice
  • Making withdrawals from your Income account.

How you access expanded phone advice How you access expanded phone advice

For a member to access over-the-phone advice on the full range of topics related to their QSuper account they simply make an appointment.

Prior to an appointment, the member will receive a phone call to ask some questions in relation to the advice they are seeking. This call is to ensure that we are able to provide the advice they need for their circumstances. We will let them know if they may need to consider comprehensive advice.
