If you meet the rules to open a QSuper account, it only takes around 10 minutes to apply online.

It's easy to take your QSuper account with you when you change jobs.

• Log in to Member Online or the QSuper app using your QSuper username and password to get all your details emailed to you.
• Download a blank form (pdf) and fill in your details.

It's quick and easy to search for any super you have in other funds using our online tool. Once you've done that, we'll combine your super into your QSuper account for you.

There are rules about what age you can start using your super and once you can access it, you have a number of ways to draw on your retirement savings.

Keeping your super account safe is our priority. As part of our commitment to security, we've turned on geo-blocking. This means you may not be able to access the QSuper website when travelling to certain countries.

The first time you log in to the app you'll need to use a one-time security code to access your account. When you log in to the QSuper mobile app after that, you generally don't need to enter a code every time. If something changes, like you reinstall the app, you'll need to use a one-time code to log back in.

However, if you're logging in to Member Online through a web browser, you'll be required to enter a one-time MFA code every time you log in.

Why don't I need to enter a security code every time I log into the app?

Our app is made for mobile phones (personal devices) which are usually used by just one person – you.

MFA lets us know it’s yours so we can ‘trust’ it for future logins. It’s like a digital fingerprint.

Member Online is often opened in a web browser, like Chrome or Safari, on shared devices such as:

• a family laptop
• work computer
• public device.

We can’t fully trust them because more than one person often uses them.

If you work for the Queensland Government, you don't need to send us anything - simply let your payroll office know your new details and they'll pass them on.

If you don't work for the Queensland Government, here's how to make changes:

Send us by post, email or fax:

• Your request in writing, listing your name, date of birth, and address, and
• A certified copy of your Registry of Births, Deaths, and Marriages marriage certificate or change of name certificate, or your deed poll if you got married overseas.

Don’t have any of the above? You can give us a statutory declaration that tells us the details of the name change.

Please note we can't accept the ceremonial marriage certificate that you sign on the day of your wedding.

You'll need to give us a certified copy of at least one of the following:

• Driver licence
• Proof of age card
• Passport
• Birth certificate.

You can contact us by phone, in writing or in person to update your title. It's a good idea to update this with your employer as well to prevent it from changing back.
