We aim to make our fees transparent, straightforward and easy to understand.
The cost of managing your account is split into administration fees, investment fees, and indirect costs. We calculate and take the fees and costs out before we declare the unit price, every working day.
QSuper's capped administration fee covers the general cost of managing your super.
This includes the cost of our in-house Contact Centre, education seminars, over-the-phone advice, as well as the many systems and processes that support the award-winning products we provide our members.
QSuper's investment fees cover the cost of managing your investments. They are made up of:
QSuper's indirect costs are additional costs that are not included in the original investment fees. Some examples include brokerage and stamp duty, as well as some of the specific operational costs involved with managing your investments.
While fees are necessary to cover the cost of managing your money, QSuper has an annual cap on administration fees.2 If you ever pay more than $900 a year, we'll refund the difference in July of the following financial year as a rebate – meaning more money towards your retirement.
Refer to the QSuper Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for more information about the fees and costs you may be charged.

1. The investment fee and indirect cost ratio are based on the fees and costs for the financial year ended 30 June 2020. The total fees and any other applicable fees are deducted daily from the unit price before the unit price is declared and may differ from future fees and costs. For the Socially Responsible investment option, the investment fee and indirect cost ratio have been calculated using reasonable estimates of the fees and cost arrangements and asset allocations applicable as at 1 July 2020 and may differ from future fees and costs.
2. This cap applies only to administration fees. The investment fees and indirect cost ratio are separate fees and costs.
3. These rates exclude GST. GST is applied to the brokerage fee and you will be entitled to a credit of 75% on any GST paid.
