Our financial education seminars1 are returning to in-person events at various locations around Queensland due to popular demand – adding to our range of online sessions.
From April 2022, a variety of member seminars will be held in-person to support your financial wellbeing.
Helping you wherever you live
Education seminars for a variety of superannuation and retirement planning topics were moved online in response to disruptions and challenges associated with the coronavirus pandemic through the past two years. It was one of the ways we continued to provide you with important services, information, and the support you needed through this difficult time.
While our education officers missed seeing you in person around the state, we hosted 102 online seminars for almost 19,000 viewers in 2020-21.
”Our online seminars have been really popular and convenient for our members. But we know some people prefer to speak with a person face-to-face. Our program aims to give our members a choice with both online and in-person options on offer,’’ said Kane Everingham, Team Leader, Member Education.
Following the very successful trial of a return of our in-person education seminars in Cairns, Townsville, Bundaberg, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba in recent months, 15 more seminars across Brisbane and the Gold Coast have been scheduled.
The return of our in-person events includes popular seminars to help you prepare for life after work through to learning how you can make your money last in retirement.

QSuper account holder Melody (pictured) said QSuper seminars gave her confidence to enjoy her retirement, knowing she was in control of her financial wellbeing.
“Before I retired I did quite a bit of planning. The first thing I did was attend the QSuper retirement planning seminars, which I’ve got to say were brilliant. I came away from those with a checklist of things to work through in the last two years before I retired,” Melody said.
