Risks of investing in Australian shares
The Australian share market is considered a high risk investment. By investing in just a single or a small number of companies, you increase your risk further. The trade-off for potentially higher returns is a higher level of risk, so when you invest in shares, you need to be prepared to accept a level of volatility and the possibility of negative returns over the short-term.
