QSuper is working with peak body National Seniors Australia to share services and resources to help advance the wellbeing of older Australians, including many QSuper members.
Together, QSuper and National Seniors will work to help deliver our clear focus on supporting superannuation literacy and retirement investment planning to hundreds of thousands of older Australians, many of whom are QSuper members.
National Seniors will undertake joint research and share valuable insights with QSuper. Tapping into National Seniors’ world class research that spans health, aged care, housing and retirement income will ensure you benefit from QSuper remaining at the forefront of issues that challenge older Australians.
QSuper Chief of Member Experience Jason Murray said QSuper and National Seniors shared a strong commitment to providing dignity and financial independence in retirement that is supported by a range of direct services, information and advice.
"We work with organisations that have common goals and shared values to build the confidence and enhance the lives of our members," Mr Murray said.
As always, our members are at the heart of everything we do. This partnership with National Seniors puts the interests of our members first."
The independent voice for older Australians
National Seniors Australia is the leading not-for-profit membership organisation and advocacy group that gives older Australians – working and retired – a strong national voice on the issues that matter to them.
Established in 1976 in Queensland, where 45% of its 200,000-strong membership resides, National Seniors are on the front line challenging disadvantage and vulnerability, particularly advocating and supporting older Australians in areas such as housing, health, services, legacy and finance.
National Seniors are also at the forefront of advocating for older Australians on hot-button issues of retirement incomes and aged care.
Like QSuper, National Seniors are associated with financial freedom and retirement independence, as well as social wellbeing.

Working for QSuper members
We're one of Australia's oldest and largest super funds,1 and our members have come first for over 100 years.
In 2020 QSuper received the Pension of the Year award from SuperRatings recognising our Retirement Income account as the best value for money in Australia for the third year running.
"We’re proud of the pension product we’ve developed, its low fees, great value and the increased flexibility it provides, and we’re proud to have our unique investment strategy acknowledged during these difficult times," Mr Murray said.
"The Pension award has particular importance to us because it’s at retirement that proof of our investment strategies and member focus is most evident. It’s at that point when our members rely on us more than ever before," he said.
"With partners like National Seniors, QSuper can remain at the forefront of issues that challenge older Australians."
