Since QSuper first partnered with the Royal Flying Doctor Service Queensland Section (RFDS), we’ve been sharing thrilling stories from front-line flight nurses who are saving lives across Queensland. Now it’s your chance to experience life within the RFDS service firsthand.
We’re offering our members the chance to win an exclusive tour of an RFDS (Queensland Section) base in early 2021.
Life working with the RFDS is fast paced and high stakes, and much of the important work goes on behind the scenes.
Three winners will receive a tour at their preferred RFDS base in Queensland, with exclusive access to the base’s training facilities and hangar as the planes prepare for morning deployment. Each winner will be able to bring up to three family members or friends to share the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The RFDS operates 20 aircraft from eight aeromedical bases located in Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Charleville, Mount Isa, and Roma. The Longreach base is a hub for mental wellbeing services.
All you need to do is tell us, in 100 words or less, what a visit to a RFDS base would mean to you.
This opportunity was born out of QSuper’s ongoing commitment and partnership with the RFDS.
Over the past 18 months, QSuper has shared many stories about the important work of the RFDS, with both organisations committed to supporting the wellbeing of Queensland’s healthcare sector and the community.
One thing QSuper’s members and other Queenslanders have in common is that one day they, or someone they know, may need help from the RFDS.
Our partnership with the RFDS involves supporting flight nurses through ongoing training and professional development. In our own respective ways, we take real action to create long term benefits for the communities in which we live and serve.
It’s a perfect partnership putting Queenslanders’ best interests first.
