The Queensland Government has announced changes about who can join QSuper. This means that members of the public will be able to join QSuper without having any employment connection with the Queensland Government, or having a spouse who has worked for the Queensland Government.

This is a great opportunity - particularly for the family and friends of our members. And as one of the country's largest funds, we'll be able to do even more for our members by continuing to create industry leading products and services with some of the lowest fees in the country.1

The Queensland Government has also announced its intention to introduce choice of super fund (Choice of Fund) for core public sector employees by 30 June 2017.

This means that employees will be able to choose which super fund their contributions are made into.
