Our vision for Reconciliation

In June 2018, we launched our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our RAP demonstrates our dedication to advancing reconciliation in Australia.

As part of our first RAP, we engaged Gilimbaa and Larrakia artist Jenna Lee to create an artwork that represents our reconciliation journey. You can learn more about the story behind the artwork in this video.

Building better relationships

We are committed to increasing the financial wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

By developing a RAP, practical actions will be delivered to help build stronger relationships with, and enhance respect for, our First Australians.

Our RAP focuses on improving financial literacy, promoting cultural awareness, and increasing access to superannuation services and potential benefits.

Our goals for our RAP

Over the course of our RAP (2018-2019), initiatives will be delivered to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members and communities.

Key initiatives in our plan include:

  • celebrating NAIDOC week and National Reconciliation Week
  • raising internal understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural protocols, and
  • investigating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partnership opportunities to increase financial literacy.
