New partnership answers the call on domestic violence

DV connect logoUp to 4,000 more victims each year will have their call for help answered thanks to a new partnership between QSuper and Australia’s busiest domestic violence hotline, DVConnect. Over the next three years, QSuper will provide much-needed financial support to help meet the ever-increasing demand on its services.

According to DVConnect, demand over the last two years has risen dramatically to around 300 calls a day – up from 100-150 calls in 2014. The support from QSuper will enable an extra telephone support officer to be employed for the hotline so they can answer more calls from Queenslanders in need.
