While the recruitment process may vary depending on the role, the general process is outlined below:

Assessing your application

We’ll assess your application to check whether you have the preferred qualifications and experience for the role.

Phone interview

We may contact you for a phone or video interview to check your suitability before an in person interview.


The hiring manager will discuss the interview process in more detail. You’ll then meet with the hiring manager and another member of the team. We have a structured interview process that includes; discussion about your career and relevant roles, technical and behavioural questions and discussing what interests you about a career with the QSuper Group. If you’re successful in the interview process, we’ll contact some references (with your permission) before proceeding to offer stage. Depending on the role, we may invite you in for another interview or some psychometric / work skills testing as well. Not all roles require this though and the hiring manager will be able to advise you if we require it.


If you are the successful candidate, you’ll receive a phone call from the hiring leader to offer you a role. Your offer will arrive electronically. We recommend you save a copy of your contract for future reference before you accept the offer.

Background check

Once you have accepted we also conduct a criminal history check.

If you receive a confirmation email then your application has been received! If you haven’t, please check your spam/junk mail folder or log back in to apply again.

The timing may vary depending on the role. You may not be contacted until after the closing date for the role, and then it may take hiring managers up to two weeks to review all candidates.

We don’t disclose salaries for packaged roles; however you can discuss your salary expectations with the hiring manager once you’re contacted.
