For Queensland Government employers
Employer EDC (Employer Data Collection) allows Queensland Government employers to remit their superannuation contributions to QSuper by electronic funds transfer (EFT).
Remittances must be lodged within seven calendar days of the pay cycle end date and must equal the total remittance amounts reflected in the contributions data file.
The benefits of using the EFT system include:
- greater security
- instant recognition that monies have been transferred
- reduction of manual processes, e.g. preparation of cheques.
For Non-Queensland Government employers
Employer Express is QSuper’s superannuation online clearing house for Non-Queensland Government employers. Employer express allows employers to distribute contributions to multiple superannuation funds, including QSuper, with just one payment.
Some employers choose to use Employer express just to make contributions to QSuper, as QSuper subsidises these transactions at no cost to the employer.
